The Zebra MPACT-SB1100-1 SB1100 Bluetooth Asset Beacon is a small, coin cell Bluetooth beacon that is great for tracking assets and has been optimized for long battery life within industrial environments. It has ultra-low RF transmit powers for increased location accuracy and improved performance in high density deployments.

The SB1100 beacon is constructed of materials that withstand common industrial cleaning agents and can be mounted with the included 3M VHB industrial tape or by using Mounting Plates.

What are Bluetooth Beacons?
Bluetooth Beacons are BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) transmitters that require very little infrastructure to setup and offer very long read ranges. Bluetooth Beacons broadcast their data to nearby Bluetooth Gateways to identify and interact with them. This enables BLE devices to be used in a wide variety of different applications, usually involving the tracking of an item or person. BLE devices are battery powered, and can function for dozens of months straight without requiring a change in battery.
