The Zebra RFD4031-G00B700-US UHF Mobile RFID Premium Sled with Bluetooth / WiFi 6 empowers workers in the retail, hospitality, and healthcare industries to work more efficiently, optimizing cycle-counting with industry-best read rates, 20ft+ read ranges, and increased battery capacity. The RFD40 Premium Sled is also ready for the future with easy-to-change tool-free sled adaptors and cradle cups enabling enterprises to add support for new mobile computers as they become available.
Based on Zebra-designed proprietary radio technology, the RFD40 Premium UHF RFID Sled raises the bar for RFID reading performance with a read rate of 1300+ tags per second. The RFD40 Premium sled utilizes a similar antenna to that of the RFD2000 and MC3330xR so users will be familiar with the reading experience. A new tri-function user-programmable trigger allows for quick access to RFID reading and barcode scanning functions. By default, the top trigger is set to control RFID reading operation and the bottom trigger is configured to control the barcode scanner in the Zebra mobile computer.

What devices does the RFD40 RFID Sled work with?
The RFD40 Standard currently supports the Zebra TC21/TC26 and EC50/EC55 with an 8-Pin back connecter and clips directly into the sled. Also supports Windows based PCs via USB C connection. The RFD40 Premium and Premium Plus supports Zebra TC21/TC26 and EC50/EC55 with the 8-Pin back connecter along with most other devices using a Bluetooth Connection.
Does the RFD40 UHF RFID Standard Sled replace any products in the Zebra portfolio?
The RFD40 Standard Sled replaces the RFD2000 in Zebra's portfolio of UHF RFID handhelds. In contrast to the RFD2000, the RFD40 Standard Sled supports various different mobile computers, and while it is not purpose-built for one specific mobile computer, it provides the integrated look and feel of a purpose-built device.
What is needed to use the RFD40 sled to read RFID tags?
