The TSL 3138-AX2-US Rugged Bluetooth Mobile RFID Sled is an update of TSL's very popular 2128/2128P series with new, performance-boosting internal hardware paired with the market's most advanced security features. The inclusion of a 'Power Handle' increases battery capacity, which when combined with more efficient hardware, provides longer run times than ever before. The 3138 Reader is a highly versatile UHF RFID read/write device leveraging TSL's extensive software environment, while providing a superior user experience thanks to:
- Faster data acquisition with tag read rates up to 1200 tags per second.
- Better RFID performance and processing capabilities with the next generation Impinj E710 core.
- Most secure UHF handheld reader on the market.
- Longer operating times and more tags read in a single charge (Over 2x longer operating time vs 2128P and Varta XL battery).
- Optional Hot Swap accessory allows continuous, 24/7 operation of the handheld reader.
Multiple tag operations per tag are possible during an inventory scan - read multiple areas of each tag, or write to or even lock the tag. Support has been added for HID and other sensor transponders (temperature, strain, humidity, acceleration) and a demo app is provided.
