The TSL 3166-AX1-US Long Range UHF Mobile RFID Reader boasts TSL's latest hardware innovations and performance improvements, in a more efficient reader with an all-day battery life. Using the latest generation of Impinj silicon, read rates have been boosted up to 1200 tags per second. Multiple tag operations per tag are possible during an inventory scan: read multiple areas of each tag, write to, or even lock the tag. On reader deduplication prevents overwhelming the connected host with information.
The 3166 features a fixed High Gain antenna for up to 9 m (29.5 ft) of read range. As per the 2166 UHF Reader, the patented TSL ePop-Loq connector allows data and charge connections to be passed from the reader to an attached device, such as a smartphone or handheld terminal. The unique ePop-Loq system is also designed to safely separate when the reader is subject to large impacts, such as when dropped. The 3166 is the most Ultra-Rugged version of the TSL Readers to-date, being able to withstand drops of up to 6 feet, and able to operate in extreme climates.
