The PTS Industrial Bluetooth Beacon Starter kit includes the most rugged gateways and beacons as well as the most flexible Beacon reading software available, ClearStream. This system can be set up with a single gateway to identify the existence of items and it can be easily expanded to do much more including triangulating positions of beacons and streaming that information to a pre-existing db or software system.

ClearStream RFID Software Specs
- Stream Bluetooth Beacon Tag data to Text, Excel, SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, MS Access and more. ClearStream also support sending data to endpoint including email and urls.
- Fields of data collected include MAC, Distance, Data, Reader Name, Antenna, RSSI, Date/Time, Start Event, Tag Event, Count, UUID, Major, Minor, Namespace, Instance, Voltage, Temperature and URL.
- Add additional custom fields of data to send along with the default data fields. This data can be static or based off of string length/conditions.
- Moderate how often a beacon gets reported to the database using our Moderate tag reads setting and custom events.
- With the ClearStream Web API, users can create their own interface to read beacon data.

What are Bluetooth Beacons?
Bluetooth Beacons are BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) transmitters that require very little infrastructure to setup and offer very long read ranges.
Bluetooth Beacons broadcast their data to nearby Bluetooth Gateways to identify and interact with them.
This enables BLE devices to be used in a wide variety of different applications, usually involving the tracking of an item or person.
BLE devices are battery powered, and can function for dozens of months straight without requiring a change in battery.
