Yes, the Zebra TC22R TAA does not come with software.
Our TracerPlus Mobile Software is a great solution for the Zebra TC22R TAA and allows you to create custom RFID enabled forms with no programming.
Does TC22R use RFD40 & RFD90's battery? Is it backwards compatible?
While the form factor is the same as RFD40 & 90's battery, the battery for the TC22R is new and can be identified by a blue manufacturing label, yet it is backwards compatible. Older RFD40 and RFD90 batteries (with black manufacturing label) are not forwards compatible with the TC22R.
Does the TC22R Replace any older devices?
No, TC22R is a net new offering and is not a replacement for any devices.
